Citizen Card application

Description

The Citizen card application that is individual to pay EMT public transport (Bus) applying economic fares individualized according to defined profiles. It can also use to register as Bicipalma user (public bicycle system) and for obtaining the residence certificate for trips online.

Who can make this request?

Individual:

  • Resident in Palma (registered in Palma)
  • Resident of municipalities with agreement must go to their town Council. Look up the list of municipalities with agreement.
  • Resident on the Balearic Islands in municipalities without agreement.                                                                             
Documentation to be submitted

---- PAPERS WHICH PROVE THAT YOU ARE A RESIDENT:

DNI, NIE, passport or Spanish driving licence.
Children under 16:
- DNI of the minor
- DNI of his legal representative (father, mother or guardian), with who is registered.

THROUGH REPRESENTATIVE, either a) or b):
  a) DNI of the representative and DNI of the person represented.
  b) The document certifying the representation which is cited, accompanied by the original and copy of the DNI of the person represented.

REDUCED FARES PROFILES FOR EMT TRANSPORT THAT HAVE DIRECTLY WITH THE CARD, ONLY PRESENTING THE PAPERS MENTIONED BEFORE. 

  • RESIDENT:              Reduced price per trip €0,80
  • MINOR:                   Reduced price per trip €0, 30 (children under 17)-
  • CARNET GRAN B: Reduced price per trip €0, 30 (from 70)


REDUCED FARES PROFILES FOR EMT TRANSPORT THAT IS OBTAINED PRESENTING THE FOLLOWING PAPERS APART FROM THE PAPERS MENTIONED BEFORE.

SCHOOL OR UNIVERSITY -Reduced price per trip €0, 45 (over 17)-
Requirements: to do regulated training included in the educational offer of the Conselleria d'Educació, Cultura i Universitats.Consult the document of the educational offer.       Present: supporting document in which is recorded the current academic year.

LARGE FAMILY    -Reduced price per trip €0, 30-
Requirement: to be a member of a large family
Present: book or card of large family of any autonomous community of Spain.

  • GREEN CARD   -Reduced price per trip €0, 30 (disability, RMI beneficiary, etc.)-
    Requirement: to have some of the following conditions recognized. 
    - Disability of >= 33%
    - Pensioner under 60.
    - RMI beneficiary
    - Parents with children with a disability in their care >= 65%
    - Spouse, partner or children of 17 of people with disabilities >= 65%
    - Users of 17 in foster homes or guardianship in official or recognized centres
    To present: consult Carnet Verd (Green Card) documentation. 
  • GRAN  A  -free (from 60)gratuït-
    Requirement: 2012 incomes no superior to: individually €5,652, jointly €11,304.
  • GRAN B  -Reduced price per trip €0, 30 (ages between 60 and 69)-
    From 60 to 64 -> 2012 incomes no superior to: individually €8,980, jointly €17,959.
    From 65 to 69 -> 2012 incomes no superior to: individually €17,959, jointly €35,918.
    Present: Income tax return (IRPF) 2012 or AEAT certificate that the income tax returns has not been presented. This information can be obtained from the Town Council offices having been previously authorized by the holder. 
  • NON-RESIDENT   - reduced price per trip €1, 15 -
    Requirement: to be registered on the Balearic Islands (except residents of municipalities assigned to the Citizen Card agreement).
    Present: DNI with the current address or register certificate with a maximum validity of 2 months.

In-person

Online ONLY FOR THE FOLLOWINGS PROFILES:

  • resident
  • Undergraduate (they will have to enclose a PDF of the registration)

  • In-person: the card will be delivered at the time (see commitment letter)
  • Online: the card will be sent at the address in which the citizen is registered within approximately 4 working days.
