Requirements Reports may be requested by any party involved in an accident or their insurance company.

Comments
  • In the case of basic information on an accident (date, vehicle registration number, make, and insurance details of the vehicles involved), you can expect to receive a response from 12 pm of the next working day. This service is free of charge.
  • In the case of information on the data related to an accident in which the local police have intervened (copy of the internal report and statements from the police officers involved): a response will be received within one month starting from the day after the request (tariff 28 of the Municipal Tax Ordinance applies).
  • In the case of an informative report on a traffic accident (including statements from those involved): a response will be received within one month starting from the day following the request (tariff 29 of the Municipal Tax Ordinance applies).
  • In the case of a technical report on a traffic accident (preparation of the report or expanded account of events): a response will be received within one month starting from the day following the request (tariff 30 of the Municipal Tax Ordinance applies). 
     

In the case of requests from outside of the island, the claim (a written document indicating the request) must be sent by mail or fax, together with proof of payment of the associated fee (payment must be made to the relevant Palma City Council bank account).
