Signs on certain types of public premises (adaptations to comply with regulations)

Who can make this request? Anyone: individuals, legal entities, etc.
Documentation to be submitted
  • General request form;
  • Copy of opening and operating licence for the activity of the premises;
  • Document certifying the renewal of the associated entertainment licence, where appropriate;
  • Certificate of adequacy to Transitional Provision 2a of the ordinance regulating the opening hours and conditions applicable to entertainment and catering establishments open to the general public, where appropriate.
Where can I request this? Please submit documentation to the General Registry of Citizen Services Offices (Registro General de las Oficinas de Atención a la Ciudadanía, OAC), or to any office of the public administration bodies stipulated in Article 38.4 of Law 30/1992.

Comments
  • Signs allow a business to display the category of the establishment and its opening hours.
  • In the event that the legal deadline established has passed and no decision has been handed down, if all legal requirements have been fulfilled then positive administrative silence will apply.
  • If any of the legal requirements is not fulfilled, signs displaying restricted timetables can still be obtained.
