Complaints related to the licensing of activities

Who can make this request? Anyone: individuals, legal entities, etc.
Documentation to be submitted
  • Request to initiate complaint proceedings (general form) which should carry the following information:
    • Name and surname of the interested party, and ¿ where appropriate ¿ of the person representing that party, as well as information regarding preferences in terms of methods of contact or address where notifications should be delivered;
    • Facts, reasons and requests (with clear details) related to the complaint;
    • Place and date;
    • Signature of person making the request or proof of the authenticity of their will expressed by another means;
    • Body, centre or administrative department to which the complaint is directed.
Where can I request this? Please submit documentation to the General Registry of Citizen Services Offices (Registro General de las Oficinas de Atención a la Ciudadanía, OAC), or to any office of the public administration bodies stipulated in Article 38.4 of Law 30/1992.
Procedure duration This procedure has a duration of 6 months

Requirements Complaints may be made by any individual or entity affected in accordance with Article 125 of Law 16/2006 (17 October) on the Legal Framework governing the Integrated Licensing of Activity in the Balearic Islands.

Can my establishment be closed if I only possess an installation permit for the activities carried out there?  Yes. You also require an opening and operating licence.

Does the installation permit have to match the activity that is going to take place on my premises? Yes, always.
