Comments | There are no associated fees or taxes. The ACIRE card for access to car parks and exceptional cases only allows holders to drive in the ACIRE zone where the car park in question is situated or related to the exceptional reason for which the card has been issued. The permit card is valid for a period of 5 years (in the case of car parks) and 2 years (for other exceptional cases). |
More information | What is considered to be an exceptional case? An exceptional case is one than justifies the need to drive in an ACIRE zone: parents who need to pick up their children from nurseries or other educational institutions situated in an ACIRE zone, members of professional associations, persons who require assistance, and so on. Where can I apply for an ACIRE permit? At the Traffic Department. If the documentation presented is complete and all requisites are fulfilled, the card is processed in the act. It is also possible to submit documentation to any UIAP; however, the interested party would need to collect the card from the Local Police building at the aforementioned address. If I possess an ACIRE card for access to car parks or for exceptional cases, may I park in ACIRE zones? No. This permit card only allows you to drive in ACIRE zones where the car park is situated, or in the zone related to the exceptional circumstances for which the permit has been issued. |
