Requesting a ¿No publicity¿ (¿No se admite publicidad¿) sign

Description Property owners who do not wish to receive publicity can request the appropriate sign in order to exercise their right before the administration by filling out the form attached.

Documentation to be submitted

Correctly completed request for a ¿No publicity¿ (¿No se admite publicidad¿) sign.

In the case of legally constituted communities of owners, the following documents must also be provided:

  • Copy of the record or certificate of conformity from the community of owners certifying their decision not to accept publicity.

In the case of communities of owners pending constitution, the following documents must also be provided:

  • Written agreement signed by all members of the community confirming the will of the community not to receive publicity, accompanied by a copy of the deeds of ownership or most recent water, electricity or property tax (Impuesto sobre Bienes Inmuebles, IBI) receipt for each member.

In the case of single-family homes and societies, the following documents must also be provided:

  • A copy of the property deeds or most recent water, electricity or property tax (IBI) receipt. 

All copies of documents to be submitted with the request must be authenticated by means of the presentation of the original documents at the Municipal Registry.

Where can I request this? The request can be handed in at any OAC office (Registry).

In the case of complaints made due to the reception of publicity at properties where the sign is already displayed, and in order to document the sanctioning of the responsible party (unless the complaint is made by an agent of the authorities), the provision of evidence and commitment to comply with all ensuing summons will be an essential requirement. These complaints will be dealt by the 'Negociat d'Infraccions Generals' department.
