Licence for the use of public spaces for the extension of an activity (tables, chairs and other objects)

Who can make this request? Individuals or legal entities
Documentation to be submitted
  • Specific request form for a license for the use of public spaces due to the extension of an activity;
  • Site plan indicating the location to be used;
  • Detailed scale elevation plan showing the area to be used, indicating the boundaries of the façade, access points, elements to be installed there and all urban furniture, pedestrian crossings, and other details;
  • Recent photographs taken from the front and side of the area to be occupied, showing the whole road, pavement and façade of premises in clear detail;
  • Copy of the municipal operating licence for the activity in the name of the applicant, and ¿ if the licence is not in the name of the applicant ¿ a photocopy of the documentation presented to the municipal registry requesting the transfer of the licence.
  • If the area is privately owned, the applicant must also provide a copy of deeds verifying ownership.

*All documents must be presented clearly in DIN standard A-4 format.

Fees are stipulated in the Municipal Tax Ordinance for the current year.
