Who can make this request? Anyone: individuals, legal entities, associations, etc.
Documentation to be submitted
  • Application form;
  • 2 copies of the basic technical project (these do not have to be authorized copies);
  • Statistical Survey on Building and Housing of the Development Ministry;
  • A photograph of the left- and right-hand sides of the façade of the plot showing the neighbouring buildings;
  • Budget breakdown;
  • Informative report;
  • Plan on a scale of 1:500 showing elevations of the constructions facing the site and any services on the street;
  • Application for street use licence (where appropriate);
  • Original and photocopy of the documentation authorizing legal representation (where appropriate).

Urban Development licence fees and Tax on Construction, Installations and Works (Impuesto de Construcciones, Instalaciones y Obras, ICO).

The amount payable in fees and taxes is stipulated in the Municipal Tax Ordinance for the current year (concepts 312-00 and 282-00).

This procedure encompasses major works related to new constructions, renovation work, extensions, demolition and modifications.

 

In the event that no response is received from the Administration, the applicant can request a certificate which verifies that the licence has been granted by means of administrative silence.

 

Notwithstanding the applicable sector regulations, those licence or permit applications whose content breaches legal regulations or are related to the use or occupation of local public property will not be authorized by administrative silence.
