Obtaining a reduced mobility parking permit

Documentation to be submitted

Documentation required at the start of the procedure:

  • Original and photocopy of the applicant¿s national identity card;
  • Two identical passport-sized photos (photocopies are not accepted);
  • Original and photocopy of the document certifying that the applicant is legally disabled;
  • Original and photocopy of the certificate or ruling certifying serious mobility problems;
  • Original and photocopy of resident¿s permit (in the case of foreign applicants).

Documentation required in subsequent phases of the procedure:

  • RENEWAL:
    Whether the certificate of serious mobility problems, issued by the Department of Social Services, is provisional and final certification must be renewed in the same management and take it renewed, together with the certificate of the legal status of disability, two identical passport photos and updated, ID card in force and the old card.
  • CANCELLATION:
    If the permit is to be cancelled due to the death of the holder or a change of address to a different municipality, the holder must return the permit to our offices or any Registry of this city council.

Requirements The permit is available to people with physical disabilities in possession of a certificate or ruling certifying serious mobility problems (a minimum of 7 points) issued by the General Directorate of Social Services (C/Joan Crespí, 11, tel: 971 178 991)

How many parking permits can be issued per person with reduced mobility?
Only one permit will be issued for the person with serious mobility problems.

Where can I apply for the permit? You can apply for a permit at the Local Police Station (C/Son Dameto, 1, ground floor) at the Internal Affairs Department. There is a parking space for people with reduced mobility located at the entrance to the building.
If all documentation is submitted and all requirements are fulfilled, the permit card will be processed in the act.

Validity period: 5 years or until the expiry date of the certificate or ruling on serious mobility problems.
